FAQ

I am building a house soon and want to have motorised blinds and sheers in my home. What do I need to do?

To ensure a smooth and efficient installation of your window furnishing, especially if they are electrically operated, it's crucial to plan ahead. We recommend coordinating with us early in the process, ideally before plastering begins. This allows us to arrange for an electrician to install the necessary power points and wiring, ensuring everything is set up correctly for the shutters' operation (we can organise an electrician or client may use their preferred electrician).

Why do people motorise window furnishings?

Blinds that are automatic with the press of a button. Whether you want to open or close them. The ease and accessibility by simply using a remote control, wall switch or even your smart phone is often a preference compared to a manual system.

Proper planning and early coordination help avoid any delays or complications during installation, ensuring your shutters function seamlessly and safely.

How do you clean awnings?

To clean outdoor awnings and outdoor blinds, start by removing loose debris with a broom or brush. Mix a solution of detergent and water. Grab a soft brush or cloth and give your awning a gentle scrub. Rinse it down well with a hose. Remember, harsh chemicals could harm the fabric. Regular cleaning will help maintain the awning’s appearance and longevity in the Aussie sun.

How do I clean my curtains?

To maintain your curtains, use a regular soft brush or soft cloth to remove dust or debris. Curtains with more stubborn stains, delicately use a warm cloth to carefully wipe the curtains. Drycleaning is an option at customers own risk.
